Obituary

Mary "Dolores" Webbert, a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2024, at her residence in Chadds Ford, PA. She was 91 years old. Raised and educated in Glenolden, Pennsylvania, Dolores was the beloved daughter of Leonard and Dolores Bowers Taylor. Throughout her life, she embodied unwavering faith and was an active member of the Brandywine Valley Church, where she found solace and strength in her spirituality. Following her graduation from Glen-Nor High School, Dolores embarked on a fulfilling career as a secretary at Westinghouse in Eddystone, where she remained until her retirement. Known for her meticulousness and dedication, Dolores became an integral part of the Westinghouse team. While her professional achievements were noteworthy, Dolores's true joy was found in her relationships with her loved ones. She married the love of her life, Frederick Webbert, and they built a beautiful life together. Their adventures took them from Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, to Wilmington, Delaware, and eventually to Chadds Ford, where they settled down and established strong roots. Dolores relished in the simple pleasures of life, often finding solace in bird watching. She enjoyed camping with her family and spent countless summers at their beloved vacation home at the Jersey Shore. Dolores's eyes would light up when her grandchildren, Matthew, Taylor, and Cameron, were around, as they brought indescribable joy and laughter to her life. Dolores's legacy of love, compassion, and faith will be forever cherished. She leaves behind a profound impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her. While she may no longer be with us, Dolores's spirit will continue to live on within the hearts of her family and friends. Dolores is survived by her devoted daughters, Robin Pugh (Duke) and Pamela Main, her sister Patricia Taylor, and her loving grandchildren, Matthew Grajek, Taylor Hartman (Tylor), and Cameron Grajek. She also leaves behind a host of extended family members, friends, and colleagues who were touched by her presence. A graveside service will be held in honor of Dolores privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Dolores's memory to the Brandywine Valley Church, where Dolores found comfort and community throughout her life. Dolores Webbert's beaming smile, kind heart, and unwavering faith will forever remain in our hearts. May she rest in eternal peace, knowing she was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched.
