Obituary

Mary T. Zawaski (Thomas) (nee O'Neill), age 88, passed away July 30, 2017 at her residence in Boothwyn. Mary was born and raised in the Feltonville section of Philadelphia. She resided in Chester Twp. for 50 years before moving to Boothwyn. Mary was employed by Scott Paper Co. as a Lab Technician for 28 years before retiring in 1989. She was a parishioner of St. John Fisher Church and a former parishioner of St. Hedwig's Church. Mary enjoyed traveling, shopping, reading, and doing crossword puzzles.

She was the daughter of the late Arthur J. and Christine (McAnaney) O'Neill, wife of the late George W. Thomas (1960) and the late Raymond Zawaski (1988), mother of the late George Thomas, Jr. (1994), and sister of the late James J., John J., Arthur J., and Edward T. O'Neill.

SURVIVORS: daughters: Christine DiPaolo, Ann Marie Swank, Patricia Ann Martin, Rose Marie Verrecchia, and Augustine Zawaski; sons: Stephen M. Thomas and John R. Zawaski; brother: William M. O'Neill; 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

VISITATION: Saturday from 8:45 - 10:15 am at St. John Fisher Church, 4225 Chichester Ave., Boothwyn, PA. FUNERAL MASS: Saturday at 10:30 am at St. John Fisher Church. BURIAL: Calvary Cemetery, Conshohocken. In Lieu of Flowers: Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org. Condolences: www.nolanfidale.com.
