1940 - 2015

Maurice C. Downs, age 74, of Aston died July 23, 2015 at Taylor Hospice Residence in Ridley Park. Maurice was born and raised in Chester and received his Business Degree from Widner University. He retired as a Pricing Manager for Sun Oil after more than 40 years of employment. Maurice was a member of Wayne United Methodist Church, served in the US Army, enjoyed fishing, boating and family vacations in Ocean City, NJ. He loved and adored his wife of 51 years, Janis and cherished time spent with his grandchildren.

He was the son of the late Maurice and the late Elizabeth (Stutz) Downs.

His wife: Janis(Gallagher) Downs; Daughters: Sherri Hollick (Michael) and Deborah Sears (Michael); Grandchildren: Connor, Nathan, Maddi and Ben; Siblings: Donald Downs (Joan) and Linda Delia (Joe).

VISITATION: Wednesday from 9:30 - 11:15 am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home Ltd., 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston, PA.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Wednesday at 11:30 am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home Ltd., Aston

BURIAL: Mount Hope Cemetery, Aston.
