Melissa "Chris" (Leslie) Trainor, a longtime resident of Upper Chichester, age 49, passed away on September 27, 2016 surrounded by her loving family at her home. She was a 1984 graduate of Chichester High School. Melissa was formerly employed by both St. Francis Assisi House in Aston and Lauren's House in Upper Chichester. She was a member of the Woman's Club at Holy Saviour Church and a parishioner of St. John Fisher Church.
She was the daughter of the late Bernard and Betty Leslie and sister of the late Charles R. Frye.
SURVIVORS: devoted husband: Robert Trainor; 2 loving children: Taylor and Christopher Trainor; dear family: Margaret and Jim Pierce, who raised Melissa; 8 siblings: Kenneth L. Frye, Mary L. Gray, Barbara A. Yerger, Faye L. Houck, Bruce Frye, Diana L. Conlon, Linda S. McRae, and Joseph A. Frye.
VISITATION: Sunday evening from 6-8:00 pm at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home Ltd., 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston, PA and Monday from 9:15-10:15 am at St. John Fisher Church, 4225 Chichester Ave., Boothwyn. Funeral Mass: Monday at 10:30 am at St. John Fisher Church. BURIAL: Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills. In Lieu of Flowers: Memorial donations may be made to the American Brain Tumor Association at www.abta.org. Condolences: www.nolanfidale.com.
