Michael D. Cirillo, age 55, a longtime resident of Upper Chichester, passed away on Nov. 20, 2021, in Media, PA. Michael graduated from Chichester High School class of 1984. Michael was a talented athlete who was always surrounded by many friends. He was charismatic and could always be found laughing and having a good time with those close to him. When Michael was 25 things changed. He was involved in a terrible accident that left him paralyzed from the waist down in a wheelchair for the next 30 years. Michael was undaunted, he never gave up his love of family, friends, and life. He lit up every room he entered. Michael was a warrior who faced long weeks in the hospital throughout the past 30 years, dealing with the numerous side-effects of life in a wheelchair. Never giving up, Michael worked at Lowes for more than 10 years, as well as being an uber driver, and working in the Home Security field. Michael loved watching college football and was an avid Flyers Fan. Last week he knew his time had come to an end and he told his mom he was ready to "go home". We all know that today he's running down a football field with his brother Joe and making everyone laugh. But he will be missed - the lessons he taught us will live on with the many lives he touched.

Michael was the son of the late Ralph J. Cirillo, Sr., brother of the late Joseph Cirillo, Sr., and uncle of the late Angela Cirillo.

Survivors: Mother: Joan (Packer) Cirillo. Uncle: Roy Penman (Jan). Siblings: Ralph J. Cirillo, Jr. (Debbie), Joanmarie Smith (Jimmy). Nieces & Nephews: Jocelyn (Matthew), Jenna, Jessica, Carmen (Michael), Ralph III (Amy), Anthony, Monica, and Joseph. Step-Daughter: Ralynn Hayes. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews.
