IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Michael J.
Doyle
March 1, 1973 – December 3, 2024
Michael J. "Mike" Doyle, age 51, of Media, PA, passed away unexpectedly on December 3, 2024. Mike was born and raised in Southwest Philadelphia and was a proud graduate of Cardinal O'Hara High School. He pursued higher education at Penn State University, earning his undergraduate degree, and later achieved his master's in Information Systems from Drexel University about ten years ago. For the past 18 years, Mike worked as a Business Administrator at the University of Pennsylvania, where his dedication and problem-solving skills left a lasting impact. Mike's life was defined by his many passions and the deep connections he formed with family and friends. He loved playing guitar and cherished spending time with his two daughters, enthusiastically joining their games-whether it was Transformers or My Little Pony. He also enjoyed friendly competition, and at-home date nights with his wife often involved spirited board games and card games. A true do-it-yourselfer, Mike thrived on building and fixing things, preferring the satisfaction of crafting something with his hands over buying it. He was a natural problem solver, gifted with organization, and found joy in baking, becoming the family's go-to for homemade birthday cakes. Christmas was one of Mike's favorite holidays, and he made it extra special for his family by designing and creating their holiday decorations. He loved playing pool, even joining a league for some time, and cherished golfing outings with his dad and family. He had a deep appreciation for history, particularly World War II, and even named his dog Halsey after the World War II five-star Fleet Admiral. Mike also counted Benjamin Franklin among his favorite historical figures. He frequently visited museums to learn about and experience different cultures. More than anything, Mike valued the time he spent with his family. Whether it was baking, building, or exploring new places, his love and devotion shone through in every aspect of his life. His friends were like family to him, and he deeply cherished those close bonds. Mike is the son of the late Denise (Campanella) Noyes (2018).
