Michael Patrick Hurley, age 37, passed away on July 6, 2024. Born in West Chester, Michael was raised in Wallingford and Drexel Hill, and he most recently resided in Chadds Ford, PA. He was a proud graduate of Widener University, Class of 2009, where he majored in Business Administration. As a child, Michael cherished his summers at Aronimink Swim Club, where he formed lasting friendships and created countless memories on the swim team and lifeguard staff. Known for his unwavering passion for Philadelphia sports, Michael was an avid fan of the Eagles. Michael worked as an operations manager at ACME, a subsidiary of Albertsons. His dedication, leadership, and work ethic made him a respected and valued member of his team. An adventurous spirit, Michael loved engaging in active pursuits such as snowboarding and wakeboarding. The shore, particularly Sea Isle, held a special place in Michael's heart. It was there, ten years ago, that he met his beloved wife, Shannon. Their shared love for the shore led them to have a beautiful wedding in Avalon, a place they both cherished deeply. Michael's family and friends were the most important part of his life and his memory will live on through them forever. Survivors: His wife of 3 years: Shannon (Quay) Hurley, his parents: Hugh W. Funeral Mass: Tuesday, July 16, 2024 from 11:00am at St. John Chrysostom Church. Burial: Private.
