Obituary

Michael C. Mortimer, age 47, passed away on March 12, 2016 at his home in Oxford.  Michael was born in Darby and raised in Prospect Park. He graduated from Interboro High School in 1986.

Michael loved music and was an avid singer, songwriter and performer. He played on the Prospect Park Termites and was on the 1979 85lb Bert Bell Champs which was part of the 44 consecutive unbeaten games. Michael previously coached the Glenolden Youth Club Football team.

Michael was the brother of the late Leigh Anne and Chris Mortimer.

SURVIVORS: his parents: Thomas M. and Anne (Keenan) Mortimer, Jr., siblings: Kenny (Alice), Karen (Scott), Tommy (Barb), Sherri (Chris), David (Heather), Lauri (Mike), Danny (Shannon), Jennifer, Anna (Ron), and Jon (Dayzze); many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation:  Saturday from 9:30 - 11:45am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA. Funeral Service: Saturday at 12pm at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home. Burial: Private.
