Michael R. Svitak, age 32, passed away on December 19, 2023 at his home in Chester, PA after a long battle with addiction. Mike was born in Drexel Hill, PA, and spent his childhood in Upper Darby, Sharon Hill, and Ridley. He attended school in Ridley and went to Upper Darby High School. Mike was a dedicated and loving father to his three beloved daughters. He was an avid sports fan and loved watching the Flyers and Eagles. Mike also enjoyed listening to music, particularly Pearl Jam and 90's grunge. Mike is preceded in death by his father, William J. Svitak of Norwood, PA. Mike is survived by his loving mother, Sharon Polites (Tony), fiancé Samantha Branco, his 3 daughters Peyton, Rylee, and Jordyn, his brother William Svitak (Liz), niece Nellie, and his dedicated Aunt Chrissie, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation: Thursday, December 28, 2023 5:00pm-7:00pm at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA 19014. Funeral Service: Thursday, December 28, 2023, at 7:00pm at the funeral home.
