Michele Laura Mountain, age 48, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2024, with her devoted family by her side. Michele was born in Hannibal, MO, and moved early in her life to Havertown, PA, where she grew up. Michele was a proud graduate of Merion Mercy Academy in Merion Station, PA, and later earned her associate degree from Montgomery County Community College. Michele most recently resided in Boothwyn, PA, and had a career in the automotive industry. Outside of her professional life, Michele had a passion for the art of needlepoint, creating beautiful and intricate designs. She was a committed animal lover, opening her heart and home to dogs, cats, guinea pigs, lizards and birds. Michele was a loyal local sports fan, primarily expressed in her unwavering support of the Philadelphia Flyers and Eagles. Michele's enthusiasm for team sports extended to NCAA basketball, cheering on Duke University, and the Olympics, joyfully watching world athletes compete. When Michele wasn't streaming sports she was tuning into one of her favorite crime series. Michele is the daughter of the late Gregory "Greg" Lawrence Mountain and mother to the late Chase Lawrence Mountain. Michele is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Drew Clark; her dedicated mother, Phyllis Mountain; her children Reagan Marie Clark, Jessica Renee Clark and Andrew Stephen Clark; her brother, Gregory Lawrence Mountain II and sister-in-law, Meghan O'Rourke LeCates. Michele was graced with a large extended family living throughout the United States and she was especially fortunate to have two treasured and faithful aunts nearby, Janet Ungerer and Sandra Herrera. Visitation will be held at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home on Sunday, August 18, 2024 from 9:30 - 10:45 AM with a service to follow at 11:00 AM.
