Monika Thompson, age 76, passed away with her loving husband by her side on October 31, 2022 in Media, PA. She was born and raised in Kleinsassen, Hesse, Germany before moving to the United States in 1977. Monika was most recently a resident of Riviera at Concord in Garnet Valley, PA. She enjoyed dining out, traveling with her husband to many places including Europe, out west to ski and to Rehoboth Beach where she especially enjoyed people watching. In her spare time she enjoyed all types of needle work, gardening, playing Yahtzee, Chinese checkers and the board game Sorry. In her earlier years she bowled, played golf and was an avid pinochle player, which is where she earned her nickname Mo. She is the daughter of the late Fritz and Gertrude Brauning. Survivors: Her loving husband of 45 years Michael Thompson, her two children Patrick Thompson (Jessica), Tamara Peli (Markus), and her two grandchildren Ayleen Peli and Jackson Lehman.
