Murrell M. Boughner, age 94, died on October 7, 2021, at her home in Granite Farms Estates.  Born, raised, and educated in Chester, Murrell graduated from Chester High School class of 1944. She lived in Brookhaven for 57 years before moving to Granite Farms.  She was employed at Westinghouse where she retired. Murrell loved the beach and summered in Rehoboth Beach from when she was a young child and later enjoyed a second home there. She had a green thumb, loved flowers, flower arranging, bird watching, and most of all spending time with her family and friends. She made all the holidays special. Murrell was the daughter of the late Matthew Howlett and Florence Shropshire Howlett.  She was the wife of the late Joseph Boughner (2015), and sister of the late Robert Howlett.

SURVIVORS: Her 2 loving daughters Jackie Gorman (Patrick) and Jayme Boughner. Her grandchildren Melissa Lesniak (Pete), Alexa Gorman, and Elena Gorman, and her cherished greatgrandchildren Peter & Ella Lesniak, and sister Elva Dugan.

VISITATION Friday October 15, 2021 from 10-11:00am at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston.

FUNERAL SERVICE Friday October 15, 2021 at 11:00am at the funeral home.

BURIAL Lawncroft Cemetery Linwood.
