Nancy E. Melanson, age 76, died March 4, 2018 in West Chester. Nancy was raised and educated in Prospect Park. She graduated in 1959 from Interboro High School, and received a teaching degree in 1963 from West Chester University. She later went on to receive a Masters Degree in education. Nancy retired after 40 years of service (1963-2003) from the Southeast Delco School District (Delcroft Elementary, Folcroft). Nancy enjoyed scrapbooking, the Aston Township Seniors, sewing, teaching, and her family.

She was the daughter of the late John and Kathryn (Weaver) White; stepdaughter to the late Herbert Hatton.

SURVIVORS: 2 children: Kevin (Yoonsuh Moh-Melanson) and Keith (Ashley) Melanson; 2 sisters: Kay Martin and Valerie (John) Blazik; 1 brother: Richard (Sandy) Hatton.
