Norma J. Foltz, age 87, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday November 13, 2024 at her daughters home in Elkton, MD. Born in Amherst, VA, Norma lived in New Jersey, Garnet Valley, PA, and since 1980 has lived in North Wilmington, and for the past 18 months at her daughters home in Maryland. Norma was a nurses aide for several nursing facilities including Naamans Creek Country Manor, in Garney Valley and Shipley Manor in Wilmington, Delaware. ' She loved going to the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tenn., traveling to Amherst, VA to visit family and friends, road trips to Lancaster County to shop, crossword puzzles, reading, game shows, old country music, dancing, gardening, and caring for her flowers. She loved her family and enjoyed the time she spent with them. Norma will be missed by all but never forgotten. Norma was predeceased by her parents Gordon and Marjorie Glascock Allison, her husband of 60 years Robert L. Foltz (2015), her baby son Jesse Gordon Foltz, and her siblings Gracie Johnson, Bud Allison, Juanita Smoot, Juana Cloud, and Ruth Floyd. SURVIVORS: Her beloved children, Donna Gibbons (Richard), Lynne Ganley (Gary), and Robert Foltz (Lori). grandchildren Michele Boyd, Leigh Gibbons, Kim Ganley, and Katy Ganley, great grandchildren Kayla, Nicholas, Jaime, Jade, and Gabriella. VISITATION: Friday November 22, 2024 from 9:30-10:45am at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave. Aston. FUNERAL SERVICE: Friday November 22, 2024 at 11:00am at the funeral home. BURIAL: Siloam United Methodist Church Cemetery, Bethel Township. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Norma's name may be made to the American Lung Association at www.lung.org.
