Palmera (Balestrier) Casamassi , age 95, passed away on February 12, 2017. Mrs. Casamassi had been a resident of Chester for 60 years and Brookhaven for 20 years before moving to Fair Acres. Palmera enjoyed making ceramics. She was a longtime parishoner of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Chester, and Our Lady of Charity Church, Brookhaven. Palmera was currently a member of St. John Fisher Church, Boothwyn.

Mrs. Casamassi is the daughter of the late Luigi and Concetta (DiAmato) Balestrier and was the wife of the late Nicholas Casamassi.
