IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patricia A.
(Dougherty) Michalkiewicz
October 4, 1956 – April 6, 2024
Patricia Ann Michalkiewicz, affectionately known as "Pat", peacefully departed this life surrounded by her loved ones on Friday, April 5th. Born in Chester, Pennsylvania, she graduated from Chester High School in 1975. A parishioner of Saint Thomas the Apostle Church, she dedicated over two decades of service as a CCD teacher. Pat's diverse talents were evident throughout her life. A devoted animal lover, she excelled as a dog groomer. She was also a school bus driver for Chester Upland, Garnet Valley, and Penn Delco school districts. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, reading books, and spending time with friends and family. Pat cherished her roles as a sister, mother, mommom, and friend, always making sure everyone felt welcome and had a good time at her gatherings. A queen of misfits, her parties were famous for endless laughter, bringing people together like a big, happy family. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Dolores Dougherty, as well as her first and second husbands, Michael Campbell and John Michalkiewicz. Pat is survived by her children Molly (Daryl), Danny (Shannon), Matt (Sandy), John, Stephen (Ryan), Donald (Jennifer), and Bobby (Jennie). Her siblings Michael Carrero (Gloria), Robert Carrero (Diane), Debra Washington (Walter), and Bruce Dougherty (Kathy) mourn her passing alongside her 11 adoring grandchildren, Gunnar, Zander, Violet, Madison, Sophia, Jack, Gavin, Harper, Katie, Donnie, and Parker. She also leaves behind her longtime companion Michael Brennan, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cherished friends. Pat's departure may dim the room, but her memory will forever light up our hearts with the joy she brought.
