Patricia Ann Kerezsi, age 90, of Aston, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at her home on June 20, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on December 21, 1934, in Wilkes Barre, PA, Patricia, affectionately known as Pat, lived a life rich in love, community, and cherished relationships.A proud graduate of Notre Dame, Moylan, in 1952, Pat's thirst for knowledge led her back to academia in the 1980s, culminating in degrees from Widener University and St. Joseph's University. Professionally, she served as a senior exam editor for the National Board of Medical Examiners and many wonderful years working for Mid Atlantic Retina, holding dear the treasured memories and relationships formed while working alongside esteemed colleagues and Dr. William Schetman. Additionally, she co-owned Lou's Auto Service in Chester with her late husband, Louis, who preceded her in death in 1983.Pat was the embodiment of dedication and support, continually attending her children's and grandchildren's sporting events. She maintained a loving bond with her high school friends through a monthly gathering known as the "Club," celebrating life's milestones together for over six decades. Among her many passions, Pat found joy in playing bridge, solving word puzzles, enjoying summers at Wildwood Crest, and hosting gatherings, particularly at the beloved St. Francis De Sales Church picnics and school field day activities. However, nothing brought her greater happiness than sitting in her backyard, watching family, friends, and neighbors come together for games and laughter on the compound she lovingly shared with Lou.A devout member of St. Francis De Sales Church in Lenni, Pat's faith was a cornerstone of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Elizabeth Vedor Kapuscinski, her son David Kerezsi (2023), and her beloved husband, Louis J. Kerezsi. Pat is survived by her cherished children: Louis Kerezsi (Terri), James Kerezsi (Diane Wilson), Patricia Kerezsi, and Thomas Kerezsi (Laura); thirteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren, with two on the way; her sisters Marcella Anderson and Elizabeth (Betty) Borreggine; as well as her daughter-in-law, Barbara Ann Kerezsi.In gratitude, the family extends heartfelt appreciation to Bayada Home Health and Bayada Hospice for their unwavering support and kindness, which allowed Pat to remain at home in her final days. Patricia Ann Kerezsi's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, devotion, and unwavering strength. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace. Visitation will take place Saturday June 28 from 9:30-10:45am at St. Francis De Sales Church, 35 New Road, Aston, PA 19014. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM, celebrating the life and legacy of Patricia Ann Kerezsi. Interment will be held at St. Francis De Sales Cemetery.
