Patricia A. "Patti" Francis, age 78, passed away on September 4, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Patricia was born and raised in Twin Oaks, PA, and was a 1964 graduate of Chichester High School. She lived in Linwood and Boothwyn before moving to Bear, Delaware where she spent 14 years before returning to Delaware County and moving in with her son Joe in Garnet Valley. Patricia worked for Cigna and Ace Insurance Companies and she retired from Chubb Insurance Company in 2016. She enjoyed family vacations to Disney, going on cruises, the beach, and summers at Gulls Way Campground in Dagsboro, DE. Patricia enjoyed knitting, crafting, collecting Longaberger Baskets, and she was an avid animal lover. Above all else, Patricia loved and cherished her family and the time she spent with them. Patricia will be missed by all but never forgotten. Patricia is the daughter of the late Edward and Florence Shelton, wife of the late Joseph Jackalous and Joseph Francis, and sister of the late Alice Arndt and Edward Shelton. Survivors: Her Children: Joseph Jackalous (Melanie), Joseph Francis (Kathy), and Nicole Gartside (Shane); Grandchildren: Anthony, Joe-Joe, Drew, Josh, and Julia.
