May 7, 1945 – February 9, 2022
Paul J. Cloar Jr., age 76, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2022 at his home in Brookhaven, PA. Raised and educated in Clifton Heights, Paul attended Holy Cross Grade School and Clifton Heights High School. Paul has lived in Brookhaven for the past 43 years. Paul worked at Westinghouse and for The Boeing Company for 37 years in the Jig and Fixture Building manufacturing tools that were used on Chinook Helicopters. Paul enjoyed collecting toy trains and going to train shows. Paul was a terrific athlete playing on many basketball and softball leagues. Paul was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed going to amusement parks and vacationing at the New Jersey Shore Points. Paul proudly served his country in the United States Army and was also a longtime member of Our Lady of Charity Parish in Brookhaven.
Paul was predeceased by his parents Paul J. Cloar Sr., Rita Washburn Cloar, and his beloved son Mark Cloar who passed away in 1984.
SURVIVORS: His loving wife Virginia "Ginny" DiSantis Cloar; his children Brian Cloar, Matthew Cloar, and Michelle Ayes; his son-in-law Jared Ayes; his brother James Cloar; and his cherished grandsons Lucas and Zachary Ayes.
VISITATION: Monday February 14, 2022 from 9:30-10:45am at Our Lady of Charity Church, 231 Upland Road, Brookhaven.
FUNERAL MASS: February 14, 2022, at 11:00am at the church.
BURIAL: Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery, Linwood.
