Paul Rebold, age 64, a resident of Upper Chichester Twp., died in a devastating accident, doing what he loved with cars, on July 5, 2019. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Paul moved to Delaware County and graduated from Sharon Hill High School in 1972. Paul was employed for 15 years by the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard Shop #38, as a Marine machinist before staying at home to raise his two children that he cherished. Mr. Rebold enjoyed: his many years coaching soccer, his cats, gardening, trains, music, drag racing, and WW II Naval and Aviation history.
He was the son of the late Max and Annette (Willers) Rebold, brother of the late David Rebold, and brother-in-law of the late Thomas Gudmundsen.
SURVIVORS: His wife of 36 years: Barbara Gudmundsen Rebold; Children: Alex Rebold (Chrissy Gieder) and Emily Rebold; brother: Mark E. Rebold; sister: Carol A. Breen; sisters-in-law: Joanne Gudmundsen Rebold and Elizabeth Gudmundsen; and his 2 cats: Patches and Pepper.
Visitation: Wednesday, July 24, 2019 from 9:30-10:30 am at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston. Funeral Service: Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 10:30 am at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home. Burial: Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill.
