In loving memory of our dear Paul 'Herb' Wolske, a cherished husband, father, friend and community member. Herb passed away peacefully on June 6, 2024. Herb found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He graduated from Ridley High School in 1950 and earned his BS degree from Pennsylvania Military College (Widener University). He was a lifelong faithful member of North Chester Baptist Church, Chester, where he served as a deacon, financial secretary, and sang in the choir. Herb also sang in the Ridley community Choir and the Ivy Creek Choir. His commitment to his family and community was unparalleled. He enjoyed the beach and swimming, and also enjoyed time spent with his family and friends. Herb also served his country in the United States Navy. Throughout his life, Herb made a lasting impact on those around him, touching the hearts of many with his kindness and generosity. He resided in Woodlyn for 29 years, Brookhaven for 52 years, and Glen Mills for the past 3 years, creating countless memories and connections in each community. Herb was predeceased by his parents the late Kurt and Margaret Wolske, and his cherished daughter Heidi Wolske (1984). Herb is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Trudy, with whom he shared a lifetime of love and companionship, his daughters, Lori Rosenberg (Stuart) and Susan Wolske (Roger Lake). As we celebrate his remarkable life, let us remember the joyous moments, laughter, and love that Herb brought into our lives. Please join us in honoring and celebrating the life of Paul Herman Wolske at the upcoming funeral services and ceremonies scheduled as follows: Visitation will be Monday June 17, 2024 from 10:00-11:00 am at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave. Aston Funeral Service will be Monday June 17, 2024 at 11:00am at the funeral home. Burial at Lawn Croft Cemetery. Your presence and heartfelt tributes are cherished as we commemorate the life of a truly remarkable man. May his memory live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Herb's name to the North Chester Baptist Church, 2331 Providence Avenue, Chester, PA 19013.
