Phyllis A. Waychunas (Nee Marsich) age 79, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Riddle Memorial Hospital on December 20, 2023. Raised in Ridley Township and she graduated in 1961 from Notre Dame Catholic Girls High School in Moylan, PA. Phyllis has been a resident of Aston for the past 52 years. Phyllis was a customer service representative before her retirement and she also owned and operated a silk flower shop in Chadds Ford, PA. Her commitment to her craft and the community she served earned her the respect and admiration of all who knew her. Phyllis will be fondly remembered for her warm smile, kind heart, and unwavering dedication to her family and friends. She was a and longtime parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Glen Mills, and had a special dedication to St Padre Pio. Phyllis found immense happiness and fulfillment in being a mother and grandmother. Her children and grandchildren, whose names we respectfully hold in our hearts, brought endless laughter and love into her life. Phyllis cherished the precious moments spent with each of them, creating memories that will forever be treasured by her family. The legacy of Phyllis will forever remain in the hearts of her loved ones. As we mourn her passing, we find solace in the memories that we hold dear. Her nurturing spirit, warm smile, and unwavering love will continue to inspire and guide us as we carry her spirit forward. Phyllis was predeceased by her parents Michael and Anna Bradley Marsich, her husband Raymond J. Waychunas (2016), and her son Francis X. Waychunas (2017). SURVIVORS: A devoted and loving mother, Phyllis is survived by her three sons, Raymond J. Waychunas Jr. (Joan), Alfred A. Waychunas (Brooke), and Christopher M. Waychunas (Christine). Her cherished grandchildren: Rebecca, Connor, Rachel, Brett, Bradley, Jack, Dillon, Delaney, Hilary, Eoghan, Sofia, and Lily. Phyllis is also survived by her brother Michael Marsich (Wendy) and her sister Theresa Campbell (Bud). VISITATION: Thursday December 28, 2023 from 10-11:00 am at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave. Aston.,PA 19014. FUNERAL MASS: Thursday December 28, 2023 at 11:30am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church 430 Valleybrook Road, Glen Mills, PA 19342. BURIAL: St. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
