Presley Carter, age 74, a lifelong resident of Aston, PA, passed away on December 25th, 2022. Presley was a graduate of Sun Valley High School, class of 1966. During the Vietnam War, Presley served his nation proudly as a member of the United States Army. Following his time in the service, Presley worked for Philadelphia Electric and Gillespie and Ritchie Heating and Air. He was a former member of the Aston Lion's Club and an avid golfer. Presley enjoyed traveling in his RV with his beloved wife, Joanne. He was a peaceful and gentle man who loved working with his hands. Presley was completely self-taught and could fix anything put in front of him. He was the son of the late Amos and Ruth Carter and brother of the late Amos and George Carter, and Shirley Smith. Survivors: His Wife of 55 years: Joanne Carter. Daughter: Julianne Brownhill. Grandchildren: Morgan and Meredith Brownhill. Brothers: Harry (Jo-Ann) and Walt (Shelia) Carter.
