Spennato
December 26, 1921 – March 25, 2017
Ralph N. Spennato, age 95, a resident of Woodlyn, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving friends and family on March 25, 2017. He was born and raised in Ischia, Italy and served 10 years in the Italian Navy during WWII where he was a 2nd Captain Segnalatore (Signalman). Ralph moved to the U.S. in 1952 and worked in the shipping and receiving department for Charles of the Ritz for 15 years and Mayers M.F.C. for 21 years. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Peace Church in Milmont Park. Ralph enjoyed hunting for birds, fishing, boating, and gardening. He also enjoyed cooking and making homemade wine!
He was the son of the late Alfonzo and Frances (Diorio) Spennato and husband of the late Filomena D. Spennato (2003).
SURVIVORS: siblings: Pete Spennato, Maria Buono, and Madelene Cohne and many nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: Saturday from 9:30 - 10:15 am at Our Lady of Peace Church, 208 Milmont Ave., Milmont Park. FUNERAL MASS: Saturday at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Peace Church. BURIAL: Ss.
