Raymond Eugene Bauer, a resident of Oxford, PA, age 68, passed away at home on November 21, 2020. Raymond was raised in Missouri until his family moved to Aston, Delaware County, when he was in grade school. He went on to graduate from Sun Valley High School and he served his nation proudly during the Vietnam War as a member of the United States Army. Before his retirement, Raymond worked for many years as a truck driver. In his free time Raymond enjoyed spending time with his beloved children and grandchildren. When he was able to, Raymond attended every sports event and activity that his grandchildren participated in, and he hated to miss even a single event.  He was an avid sports fan and loved to watch the Eagles, Phillies and Penn State Nittany Lions. For over 10 years Raymond coached is daughters' softball teams for Aston AA and he coached the women's softball team at Neumann University. Raymond also enjoyed to fish and he was a member of St. Joseph Church in Aston, PA.

Raymond was the son of the late Frank J. Bauer and the late Flossie A. Benenhaley (Jim), brother of the late Charles Bauer, Joyce Burns, Anna Burns (Morey), and Bruce Bauer (Julie), and step-brother of the late Steve Webb.

Survivors: Children: Dawn Gaffney (Paul), Kimberly Neskie (Chris), and Christina Bauer (Kevin). Former Wife and Best Friend: Rosemary Bauer. Step-Siblings: Sandy Dunn and Scott Webb (Lisa). Grandchildren: Justin Neskie, Erin Gaffney, Lauren Neskie, Samantha Thomas, PJ Gaffney, Emma Neskie, Johnathan Thomas, Dolan Shanaway, Nolan Neskie, and Colton Grear.

Visitation: Saturday, November 28, 2020, from 1:30pm-2:45pm at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA. Memorial Service: Saturday at 3:00 pm at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home. Condolences: www.nolanfidale.com.
