Raymond A. Cristinzio, age 87, passed away peacefully at his home in Garnet Valley, PA with his wife by his side on February 24th, 2026. Raymond was raised in Darby, PA, and was a proud graduate of West Catholic High School for Boys, where he played football and made many lifelong friendships. Ray had previously resided in Glen Mills, PA for a few years before moving to Garnet Valley, PA more than 20 years ago. Raymond honorably served his country in the United States Air Force for 4 years, spending 2 years stationed overseas in Japan. Following his military service, he built a long and dedicated career working for companies such as Western Electric, Bell Telephone, Verizon, and the University of Pennsylvania.
A man who truly enjoyed the outdoors, Raymond found great happiness in golfing, fishing, hunting, and target shooting. He especially cherished his years coaching youth baseball, proudly coaching his sons' teams and supporting their love of the game. Above all, Raymond liked to spend his time surrounded by his family and his boys.
Raymond was a devoted parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Glen Mills, PA.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parent: Anthony and Anna Cristinzio; His first wife, Charlotte (Dochterman) Cristinzio who passed away in 2000; and his sisters: Anna Mae Fantozzi and Jeannette Coppola.
Survivors: His beloved wife, Eileen (Torrieri) Cristinzio; 2 sons: Andrew Cristinzio (Carrie) and Stephen Cristinzio (Nicole); his brother, Michael Cristinzio (Carol); and his 3 grandchildren: Maxwell, Samuel, and Jack Cristinzio; Eileen's 2 children: Joseph Torrieri, Jr. (Deborah) and Carin Ciampoli (Joseph); and Eileen's grandchildren: Corey (Alix), Noah, and William Torrieri; Anthony, Daniel, and Michael Ciampoli.
Visitation: Friday, March 6, 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 430 Valleybrook Road, Glen Mills, PA 19342.
Funeral Mass: Friday, March 6, 2026 at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 430 Valleybrook Road, Glen Mills, PA 19342.
Burial: SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, Pennsylvania.
