Raymond C. Perko, 90, passed away peacefully on September 25, 2026. He was born on November 14, 1935, in Shamokin, Pennsylvania. He was raised in Upland, Pa, before moving to Aston and later West Chester.

Raymond was a talented and accomplished Interior Designer and Interior Space Planner, who loved what he did, and whose career took him across the United States and internationally. His most cherished projects included a mall in Milan, Italy, the Library Discotheque in New York, and St. Mary Magdalen Church in Media. His dedication to his craft and creative vision earned him multiple professional awards, including an Award of Excellence for Interior Design. Many of his completed projects were featured in publications of Interior Design Magazine.

Raymond studied at the Philadelphia Museum college of Art, where he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. He also attended Widener University and Penn State University, studying engineering. Throughout his professional life, he remained dedicated to the field of Interior Design and eventually established his own successful business.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Raymond will be remembered for his devotion to his family and for the love he shared with his wife, Dolores, whom he adored. Their life together was an important part of who he was, and when she passed in February of this year he missed her terribly.

He is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Mcalinney (Denis), Jeffrey Perko (Jan); his his eight grandchildren, Brendan (Alexis), Brian (Annelisa), Victoria, Matthew, Dylan, Cecelia, Isabella, and Kylen, and many nieces and nephews.

Raymond leaves behind a lasting legacy through his work, his creativity, and, most importantly, the family he loved. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
