Ray Scott, a longtime resident of Eddystone, age 59, passed away on November 1, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. He was raised in the McCaffery Village section of Chester and was a graduate of Chester High School. After which, Ray graduated from Widener University and then went to work for Swarthmore College in their athletic department, where he worked for 23 years. Ray enjoyed all of the sports and the student athletes at the college, both of which were a big part of his life.
He was the son of the late Martha Scott.
SURVIVORS: his father: John Scott (Lily); 5 siblings: Carol Burt, Bob Scott (Linda), Debi Richardson (Bob), Linda Scott, and Cindy Scott; also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: Thursday, November 10, 2016 from 9:30-10:45 am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, Ltd., 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA. FUNERAL SERVICE: Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 11:00 am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, Ltd. BURIAL: Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Broomall.
