Richard Dean Wright, age 81, of Wilmington, DE, died suddenly while wintering in Fort Myers, FL on March 20, 2018. The son of the late Robert S Wright II and Roberta Suter Wright, Dick was born on February 13, 1937 in Flint, Michigan. The family returned to Swarthmore, PA in 1944. Dick graduated from Swarthmore High School in 1955 and attended Lehigh University. He later served in the U.S. Army Reserves and was honorably discharged in 1965. In 1966 he married his wife, Jane Deans Wright, and moved to Wilmington, DE. Dick enjoyed many trips in his various RV's, particularly to Florida for the winter and New Hampshire in the summer. He had a passion for genealogy, and spent many years researching ancestry for his own family and friends. He posted tens of thousands of memorials on the Find A Grave website so that fellow researchers may have an easier path. He enjoyed playing the guitar, and later the organ for enjoyment. He was also very mechanically creative; always having a project going.
