Obituary

Richard L. Potter, 83, of Prospect Park passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Riddle Memorial Hospital in Media, Pennsylvania. Born in Wayneboro, Virginia he was a graduate of Chester High School, Chester, PA. Richard honorably served our nation in the United States Army and went on to pursue a career in HVAC working mainly for Chichester School District. In his free time, he enjoyed astronomy, electronics, and radio communication. He is preceded in death by parents: Phineas and Anne Potter, his beloved wife: Pauline (Taylor) Potter (2005) and two siblings: George T. Potter and William G. Nied IV. Survivors: Nieces and nephews: Deserie Zakorchemny (Andy), John Richard Potter, and George T. Potter, Jr. Richard is also survived by one great niece, two great nephews, one great great niece, one great great nephew, and many cousins. Visitation: Friday, September 12, 2025 9:30am-10:00am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston, Pennsylvania 19014. Funeral Service: Friday, September 12, 2025 at 10:00am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston, Pennsylvania, 19014. Burial: Lawn Croft Cemetery In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Woodlyn Baptist Church.
