Richard Gene Sweet , of Glen Mills, PA, born March 30, 1934 in Warren, OH, departed this life on May 26, 2016 at the age of 82 years. Richard, also known many to as Dick and to special others as Juice, spent over 40 years of his life in the restaurant business, first as a partner in a chain of Arby's in Western New York, and later as the owner and operator of RGS Enterprises, a chain of Arby's in Delaware County, PA and in Southern NJ. Dick's service in the Air Force included training at the Rand Corporation. He was also employed by Republic Steel and McDonald's.

He is predeceased by his parents, Mildred (Graves) and Winford Sweet, and by his sons, James and Michael.

Survivors: His wife of 62 years, Shirley (Thurman) Sweet 3 Children: His son, Brian, of Columbus, OH, his daughters, Kim Denning of Kennett Square, PA and Kristi Sweet Welsh, of Oxford, PA. Daughter-in-law: Sandi Sweet of Williamstown, NJ. 2 Sisters: Frances (Louis, deceased) Toth and Patricia (Gordon) McLean, both of Warren, OH. 10 Grandchildren: He is sadly missed by his grandchildren – Robert (Quinn), Kara, Shawn and Brandon Denning; Roger J. Welsh III; and Jimmy, Zachary, Danny, Evie and Timmy Sweet - and 2 Great-Grandchildren: Ivy and Robert J. Denning IV ("Bear"), as well as by nieces and nephews. Also survived by many dear friends, of whom we must mention long time neighbors, Julius B. Flynn and Joan Duvall-Flynn, whose support meant everything to us in recent years, and the John Veres family of Cleveland, OH.

Visitation: Thursday from 6-8 pm at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Avenue, Aston, PA, and on Friday from 10-11 am at the funeral home. Funeral Service: 11 am at the funeral home.
