Richard A. Taylor, a longtime resident of Aston, PA, died suddenly at the age of 61 on September 2, 2021. Ric was a graduate of Sun Valley High School, Class of 1978, and was employed by Boeing for over 30 years. During his time at Sun Valley High School, Ric earned 10 Varsity Letters in Football, Basketball, and Track. For over 35 years he helped his community foster a passion for sports as a referee of High School and Youth Football and Basketball. On and off the field, Ric was willing to engage in conversations with anyone he met. In recognition of his dedication to his community he was inducted into the Aston Sports Hall of Fame in 2006. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Aston.
He was the son of the late Richard Taylor.
Survivors: Children: Marisa and Zac Taylor. Mother: Elizabeth Taylor. Siblings: Ann Azer (Samy), Margaret Guy (Dan), and Helen Pietrewicz (Alan). He is also survived by his beloved granddaughter Carmella.

Visitation: Friday, September 10, 2021 from 8:15-10:15am at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA Funeral Mass: Friday at 11:00am at St. Joseph's Church 3255 Concord Rd. Aston, PA 19014. Burial: Calvary Cemetery, Conshohocken, PA. In Lieu of Flowers: Memorial donations may be made in Ric's memory to the Media Youth Center at 1 Youth Way Ave., Media, PA 19063.
