1924 - 2015

Rita B. (Glover) Socash, age 90, died April 17, 2015 at her home in Parkside. Rita was Born and raised in Chester. She was an honorary member of the Lady's Auxiliary of the Eddystone Fire Co. and the Delaware County Fire Department. Rita was also a member of Our Lady of Charity Catholic Church in Brookhaven.

She was the daughter of the late Leon & Sarah (Dodds) Glover; Wife of the late Francis "Harry" G. Socash, Sr.; Mother of the late Francis, Jr. and Joseph Socash; Sister of the late Dorothy Whitby, Delores Olsen and John Glover.

SURVIVORS:

Children: Thomas Socash (Marie), Calabash, NC; Robert Socash (Averina), Wilmington, DE; Grandchildren: Francis Socash, Patty Lane, Robert Socash, Jr. and Joshua Socash; Great Grandchildren: Gabriela & Samantha Socash, Tommy & Travis Lane and Kaden Socash; Brother: Robert Glover, Boothwyn; Dear and close friend: Harvey Martin.

VISITATION: Friday from 10:15 - 10:45 am at Our Lady of Charity Church, 231 Upland Road, Brookhaven

MASS: Friday at 11:00 am at Our Lady Of Charity Church, Brookhaven.

BURIAL: Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield.

BY FAMILY REQUEST: No Flowers Please, In Lieu of Flowers donations in Rita's memory may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
