January 7, 1940 – November 16, 2020
Robert "Chuck" Love, age 80, passed away peacefully and surrounded by his loving family on November 16, 2020. Chuck was a lifelong Upland resident and graduated from Eddystone High School in 1959. He graduated from the Delaware County Police Academy and was a police officer for the Upland Borough for his entire career, retiring as Captain after 36 years of service. Chuck enjoyed hunting, tinkering in the garage, building cars, woodworking, making furniture, and his beach house in Bethany Beach. Chuck was a jokester and always loved to laugh. His time spent with his family and especially his grandchildren was priceless. Chuck was loved by all and will be truly missed, but not forgotten.
Chuck was predeceased by his parents Edward and Anna Baylor Love. His brothers Harold and Warren Love and sister Mae Carol Johnson.
SURVIVORS: His wife of 60 years Margaretta Barnard Love, his beloved daughters Pamela "Penny" Love (Clem Parent) and Lisa Schupp (Rick), his sisters Edwina Strain and Louise Baynes, his cherished grandchildren Shannon, Ricky, Kristen, Chelsea, and Clem Jr., great grandchildren Waylon, Everly, Wyatt, and his twin great granddaughters to be expected in December.
VISITATION: Monday, November 23, 2020 from 12:30-2:00pm at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave. Aston. FUNERAL SERVICE: Monday, November 23, 2020 at 2:00pm at the funeral home. BURIAL: Mount Hope Cemetery, Aston.
