Robert F. Pappano, Esq., a longtime resident of Media and Ocean City, NJ, age 80, passed away on August 18, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family. He graduated from St. James Boy's High School, LaSalle University in 1960, and Dickinson School of Law in 1963. Mr. Pappano was a senior partner and founding member of the Law Firm of Pappano & Breslin. He founded the firm with his father, Joseph E. Pappano, in 1963. In addition to his private practice, Mr. Pappano was lead cou nsel and an attorney for the Delaware County Public Defender's Office for over 40 years. He was a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Delaware County Bar Association. He served as Solicitor for Upper Providence, Marple, and Tinicum Townships over the years. Mr. Pappano proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was a parishioner of St. Mary Magdalen Church in Media.

He was the husband of the late Carol (McCloskey) Pappano who passed away on Sept. 3, 2017.

SURVIVORS: 3 children: Caren C. Ladd, Robert F. Pappano, Jr. (Trish), and Joseph G. Pappano (Stephanie); brother: Joseph E. Pappano, Jr., M.D. (Marilyn); and 10 grandchildren: Brian A. Ladd, Jr., Brooke E. Ladd, Sophia M. Pappano, Conor J. Ladd, Keira L., Robert F., III, Aidan P., Roman F., Joseph G., Jr., and Andrew K. Pappano.

VISITATION: Friday from 6:30-8:30 pm at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA and Saturday from 9:00-10:15 am at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 2400 N. Providence Rd., Media, PA. Funeral Mass: Saturday at 10:30 am at St. Mary Magdalen Church. BURIAL: Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield. In Lieu of Flowers: Donations may be made to the Bryn Mawr Hospital Oncology Unit.
