Roberta V. Lynam-Wallace (née Pierson), age 82, passed away peacefully, and surrounded by her loving family, on April 29, 2026, at her son Chris's home in Glen Mills.
Born in Philadelphia, Roberta was a proud graduate of Archbishop Prendergast High School, Class of 1963. Over the years, she made her home in Springfield, Broomall, Bear, Delaware, and West Grove, Pennsylvania, forming lasting friendships and touching the lives of many along the way.
Roberta dedicated more than 20 years of her professional life as a bookkeeper at The Iron Shop in Broomall, where she was known for her reliability, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
She found great joy in life's simple pleasures-sewing and creating crafts, tending to her garden, traveling to new places, and preparing meals for those she loved. Roberta especially cherished entertaining, hosting gatherings, and celebrating the holidays, always making family and friends feel warm and special.
Above all, Roberta's greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished every moment spent together. Whether through everyday conversations, holiday traditions, or simply being present, she created a home filled with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love. Her family was the center of her world, and the memories they shared will remain a lasting source of comfort and strength for all who knew and loved her.
Roberta was predeceased by her husband Thomas A. Lynam Jr. who passed away in 1986 and her 2nd husband Robert Wallace who passed away in 2023. She was also predeceased by her parents Daniel and Helen Torzoni Pierson.
SURVIVORS: Her cherished sons Thomas A. Lynam III (Antoinette) and Christopher Lynam (Michelle), her stepdaughters Beverly Fichter, and Deborah Warsaw (Mike), her brother Daniel Pierson, and her grandchildren Brittany, Matthew, Miranda, Tommy, Amanda, Jeffrey, Joshua, Madison, and Zachary.
