Ronald Charles Covage, age 78, passed away September 17, 2022. Ron was born in Frackville, PA and was raised and educated in Delaware County. He attended Ridley High School where he excelled in sports especially Football. He graduated from Chester High School where he earned a full scholarship for football to Alan Hancock J.C. in Santa Maria, CA. Ron lived in Aston many years before moving to Delaware in 2013. He worked for TWA/American Airlines for 36 years before retiring in 2005. He and his wife Mary traveled the world skiing in Switzerland, lobster diving off the coast of the Jersey Shore, and scuba diving the WW2 underwater museum of the wrecks of Truk Lagoon off the coast of New Guinea. He loved watching all sports especially boxing. One of Ron's greatest loves was being a caregiver to his great nephews when they were young.
Ron is the son of the late Frank & Pauline (Wapinski) Covage.
Survivors: His loving and adoring wife of 53 years, Mary Robbins Covage; Niece: Mary Lynn Needs (Rob), Great Nephews: Robby, Evan, Luke, and Scott.
