IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Rosemarie
Lanciano
April 7, 1939 – December 18, 2016
On December 18th after a long, courageous battle with cancer, RoseMarie Lanciano, 77, passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Taylor Hospice.
RoseMarie was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Rosemarie Schipani. Her youth was spent between Pittsburgh and Philadelphia and she was a graduate of West Catholic High School in Philadelphia.
RoseMarie cherished her family, especially her amazing grandchildren. In her eyes, it truly was all about them. Her love for her husband and his for her was like a fairy tale - with a tender affection that grew more beautiful with each passing year. Her lifelong friendships ran deep as Rose was a loyal friend to many and relished the same in return. She loved summers at the beach, the casinos, cards, games, outings with the Club girls, celebrating holidays and milestones with her loved ones and being pampered by her beloved hubby.
She worked for many years at the Tinicum Inn where she also built a wonderful following of customers, many of whom became dear friends.
For her family, Rosemarie's loss is as deep as the ocean and only dwarfed by the depth of her enduring love and incredible legacy.
RoseMarie is survived by her adoring husband, Rocco; her devoted daughter Liz (Rick) Highfield, sons Edward, and her baby boy David (Irene), her bonus daughter (in-law) Arlene (Joseph) Siemion; and her sensational 7 grandchildren Danielle (Thanos), Rick Tyler, David, Patrick, Victoria, Austin and Michayla. She is also survived by her lifelong friend and sister-of-her heart Irene DeGregorio; her treasured nieces Renee, Joanmarie (Godchild) and nephew Kevin as well as her Aunts,Uncles, and many cousins in Pittsburgh. RoseMarie is preceded in death by her mother RoseMarie Hulihan (Nee Schipani).
