Rosemary Edith Tierney, age 74, passed away on November 29, 2023, surrounded by her loving family in Newark, DE. Rosemary was raised in Willow Run, Wilmington DE, and was a graduate of Conrad High School. She had most recently resided in Newark, Delaware with her partner Don. Prior to her retirement, she spent her life working as an Accountant and Director of Finance, but in her retirement, she took to her passions, including selling costume jewelry through her own e-commerce business. Rosemary was an avid lover of the beach and enjoyed crafting. She especially took pleasure in making wreaths for family and friends around the holidays. She was many things to many people throughout her life: a Daughter, Mother, Wife, Sister, Partner, and Friend. Remembered fondly as someone who would do anything for her family and gave them anything she could, Rosemary's legacy is her close-knit, loving family who will always remember her. Rosemary was the daughter of the late Grace and Paul Chambers, and the former wife of the late William A. Tierney III. Rosemary is survived by her sons, Robert Paul Chambers and John Paul Tierney, and her partner, Donald Loatman. She is also remembered by her siblings, Ellie, Paulette, Debbie, and Janet, her grandchildren: Biscuit, Butter, and Dahlia, and her beloved dog, Cocoa.
