Russell J. Baiocco, Sr., age 68, a longtime resident of Glen Mills, passed away on November 24, 2017 after a battle with cancer. He was raised and educated in Chichester, where he graduated from Chichester High School in 1967. He was the son of the late Bernard C. and Anna (Cella) Baiocco and father of the late Russell "Rusty" Baiocco, Jr. Russell was an entrepreneur who owned and operated many local businesses. Russell was an avid boater and sports fisherman who enjoyed spending time on his boat the American Lady, fishing with his children and grandchildren in Ocean City, MD. He loved to travel to, as long as he could get there by boat or truck. He was a man who couldn't pass up a deal and always kept it old school. Russell loved cooking and grilling for gatherings that brought his family, friends and everyone he meet along the way together. He was not only the life of the party, but made the party happen. He was a generous man that always made the room a bit more interesting whenever he walked in, usually with a joke or story to tell. Russell loved his family, and he enjoyed spending every moment he could with his grandsons.

SURVIVORS: His wife of 43 years: Maria (Gurczenski) Baiocco; his daughter: Kristen Baiocco (Sean Niebauer); his son: Vincent C. Baiocco; 2 loving grandsons: Nicholas and Joshua Russell Niebauer; and his siblings: Antoinette Baiocco-Bates (late James Bates), Michael (Vicki), Joseph (Ruth Ann), and Christopher Baiocco (Lois Dambro); his uncle: Carmine (Betsy) Cella.

VISITATION: Thursday Evening from 6:30-8:30 pm and Friday from 8:45-9:45 am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home Ltd., 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA. FUNERAL MASS: Friday at 10:30 am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 430 Valleybrook Road, Glen Mills, PA. BURIAL: Cathedral Cemetery, Wilmington, DE.
