Ruth K. Van Leer, age 104, passed away on May 19, 2020 at Country Meadows in Allentown, PA. Ruth was raised in Marcus Hook and Linwood, PA and had been employed at the Sun Oil Company Marcus Hook Refinery as a Time Keeper. She will be remembered lovingly as a special Mom, wife, aunt, neighbor, and good friend. In her youth, Ruth enjoyed bowling, swimming, watching movies, and taking trips to the New Jersey Shore. Later in life, Ruth found a passion for solving cryptograms, taking trips to the casino, playing bingo and exercising. Ruth loved her family above all else, and always enjoyed travel and gatherings with her family and friends. Before moving to Allentown, Ruth was a resident of Springfield, PA and attended United Covenant Methodist Church in Springfield, PA.

She was the daughter of the late David and Ida May (Groce) Keating, wife of the late Harvey Cotton, and Elwood C. Van Leer, and sister of the late Mildred, Agnes, David, Elsie, Stoddard, Betty, and Crawford.

Survivors: Daughter: Ruth A. Davis Son-in-Law: Gary A. Davis.  Lifelong Friend: Ruth Facciolo.  Many nieces and nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews.

Funeral Service: Private. Burial: Lawncroft Cemetery, Linwood, PA.
