Sheila McGinn Haggerty, age 83, an 18 year resident of Glen Mills, PA, passed away on March 8, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones following a long illness. Sheila was born and raised in Havertown, PA, and was a graduate of Haverford High School. She went on to attend and graduate from Misericordia Hospital School of Nursing. After a 29 year career, Sheila retired from Bryn Mawr Hospital where she worked as a Registered Nurse. She loved working with her friends on the I.V. Team at Bryn Mawr Hospital. Sheila resided at Windsor at Glen Mills and enjoyed her time with the many friends she met there. She liked to stay active, meeting and spending time with the Book Club and Mahjong Club at Windsor. Above all else Sheila loved and cared for her family. She enjoyed every moment she spent with them, particularly family time in Brigantine Beach and Sea Isle City. Sheila was the beloved daughter of the late William and Nora McGinn, wife of the late Richard Haggerty (2005), and sister of the late Kathleen Haverly and Ann Thomas. Survivors: Daughters: Mary Kris Malloy and Kathleen MacKenzie (Kenneth), Grandchildren: Kelly, Bill (Colleen), and Kari Malloy, Carly, Callum, and Ian MacKenzie. Great Granddaughter: Brynn Carfi, Siblings: Eileen Mahan, Mary Zuccarini (Bob), Bill McGinn (Pat), and Nora Keller. Visitation: Friday March 15, 2024, 9:30am-11:00am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA 19014. Memorial Service: Friday, March 15, 2024, 11:00am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home.
