Stephanie Ann Marie Pekala-May, age 57, passed away surrounded by her loving family on August 19, 2023. Stephanie most recently was a resident of Aston, PA but was born and raised in Chester, PA. She was a graduate of Chichester Highschool, class of 1983 and worked for Danco as an account receivable representative until 2009 when she retired. Stephanie was a parishioner of Resurrection of Our Lord, in Chester, PA before it closed. In her spare time she enjoyed going to the beach, watching horror movies, dancing, and enjoying an ice cold beverage. Stephanie was a die hard Philadelphia Sports fan, and was an especially huge fan of the Eagles. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family as a Gigi, mom and devoted partner. She is the daughter of the late John L. Sr. and Harriet R. (Metague) Pekala and sister to the late John L. Pekala, Jr. Survivors: Her loving husband Carl L. Swafford, her daughter: Kaitlyn May (Richard Losey), and her grandchildren: Matthew Jr., Daniel, and Brayden Baldwin, and Makenzie and Chase Losey. Visitation: Friday August 25, 2023 from 10:00am-11:30am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave. Aston, PA 19014, Funeral Liturgy: Friday August 25, 2023 at 11:30am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home. Burial: Lawn Croft Cemetery Linwood, PA 19061.
