Stephen John Petrucelli (Steve Petro), 60, of Wilmington, Delaware passed away peacefully on January 19, 2023. Steve grew up in Wallingford, attended Nether Providence Middle and High Schools, where he played all kinds of sports. He was a huge sports fan, and especially loved rooting for the Phillies and the Eagles. He loved to cook, and spend time with his friends, and enjoyed helping others whenever he could. For the last several years, Steve was dedicated to the Sunday Breakfast Mission, in Wilmington, first as a volunteer then as an employee. There he helped countless individuals try to overcome their problems; whether it be homelessness or addiction, Steve was there to help and listen. Steve is survived by his twin brother Scott Petrucelli of Media, PA; and sisters, Amy Petrucelli of St Petersburg, FL; Beth Downing (Todd) of Germansville, PA, and Meg Schulcz (Kevin) of Aston, PA; as well as 3 nephews, and many friends. Steve is predeceased by his parents Mary Jo Petrucelli and James Petrucelli. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Steve's name to The Sunday Breakfast Mission P.O.
