Susan McCormick (nee Dreyer), age 70, a resident of Garnet Valley, PA, formerly of Springfield, PA, passed away on February 16, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Sue was raised in Sharon Hill, PA, and was a graduate of Archbishop Prendergast High School and St. Francis University in Loretto, PA. Sue worked for many years as an elementary school teacher for the South East Delco School District and as a tutor for the Delaware County Intermediate Unit. Sue will be deeply missed by her family and large group of friends. Her legacy is one of kindness to others and friendship to all. Sue had an infectious joie de vivre - a love of life, always wanting to stay active. She enjoyed cooking, meeting new people, reading, and traveling, visiting over 40 countries throughout her life. Sue will be remembered fondly for her great memory and curious mind. Also loved shopping for a good bargain. Susan was the daughter of the late Leonard Dreyer and Marie Videtto Dreyer. She is survived by her husband and best friend of 43 years, William, her son, Timothy (Paulina); siblings, Leonard (Margarita), Thomas (Margie) and Richard. Sue is also survived by many extended family members. Funeral Mass: Tuesday, February 27, 2024, 10:30am at St. Thomas the Apostle, 430 Valleybrook Rd, Glen Mills, PA 19342. Extended Family and Friends are welcome to meet at the church prior to mass at 10:15am. Burial: Will be held at a later date. Reception to follow.
