Sydney George Brim, 85, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Lankenau Hospital in Wynnewood, PA. He was raised in Norwood, PA, a graduate of Glen-Nor high school, and currently a resident of Aston, PA. George worked for Westinghouse for over 33 years as a machinist, and drove a Chichester School District school bus for over 20 years. George was a 50-year Mason. He was a member of Bridge Church in Marcus Hook, PA.
He was the son of the late William and Zoa (nee Gendron) Brim; father to the late Helen Guasperini; father-in-law to the late Robert Stephenson; brother to the late Florence Hill; and brother-in-law to the late Glenn Hill.
SURVIVORS: His wife of over 61 years: Joan E. Brim (nee Filbert); children: William (Denise) Brim, George (Kim) Brim; and Susan (Robert) Houston; grandchildren: Jason Stephenson, Shannon (Ryan) Teaford, William (Elizabeth) Brim, Tyler (Brianna) Brim, Ryan Brim, Kyle Brim, Wyatt Houston, and Kelsey Houston; great grandchildren: Ryan Teaford, Emily Brim, Nicholas Morrison, Jr., and Brian Stefanide, II; and son-in-law: Anthony Guasperini.
VISITATION: Monday, November 19, 2018, from 9:00-10:15 am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, Ltd., 5980 Chichester Avenue Aston, PA 19014.
FUNERAL SERVICE: Monday, November 19, 2018, at 10:30 at the funeral home.
BURIAL: Valley Forge Memorial Gardens in King of Prussia, PA.
