Teresa Vaul Boden, 92, died on March 23, 2016 at the Brinton Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Wilkes Barre, Pa., Teresa was raised in Chester. She was the daughter of the late Anthony W. and Loretta M. Vaul.

Following her 1942 graduation from Chester High School, Teresa worked for a time at the Bell Telephone Company. She was also employed at Chester Hospital and retired after more than 25 years from the Chester- Upland School District, where she worked as a secretary in various capacities.

Teresa was a long time member of St. Anthony Church in Chester and St. Joseph Church in Aston. She enjoyed classic movies, big band music, especially the Glenn Miller and Tommy Dorsey orchestras; eating out, doing crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Teresa was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Partin.

She is survived by her daughter, Loretta Rodgers, and her husband Larry Rodgers of Aston; granddaughters, Laura Peterson (Patrick), Lisa Rodgers Fairchild (Brian); great- granddaughters Keira and Karlie Peterson; sister, Bonnie Vaccaro; brother Frank Vaul (Irene); and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 8:00-9:15 a.m., Tuesday March 29, Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, Pa.; followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph Church, 3255 Concord Road. Interment: Immaculate Heart Cemetery, Linwood.
