March 1, 1922 – September 13, 2016
Theodore Joseph "Ted" Reczek, a longtime resident of Aston, age 94, passed away on September 13, 2016 at his home. Ted retired from the IBEW Local Union 126 after 68 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, earning the American Theater Ribbon and Victory Medal. Ted was an avid antique collector who enjoyed tinkering with cars and working in the yard and garden. His greatest joy, in his last few years, was spending time with his great granddaughter Autumn.
He was the husband of the late Elinor (Coppock) Reczek, who passed away in 2015, and brother of the late John Richart, Blanche Sidlowe, and Henry Reczek.
SURVIVORS: 3 children: Bernadette Reczek (Vincent), Mark and Gary Reczek; 2 sisters: Celie May and Natalie Wiciak; grandchildren: Cheyenne, Mark Jr., and Anthony Reczek; great granddaughter: Autumn; loving in-laws: Marietta, Betty, and Ronnie.
