Thomas J. Long , age 85, a longtime resident of Upper Chichester passed away peacefully on July 13,2023 at his home surrounded by his family. Tom was a graduate of Chester High School and worked for Scott Paper Co. for many years before retiring from Pennsylvania Machine. Tom proudly served his country with the United States Navy. He enjoyed coaching baseball for the Sun Oil Little League when his sons were young and was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan. He is the son of the late John and Mary (McKniff)Long. Tom is survived by his loving wife of 62 years: Joan M. (Berziski) Long, his 3 Sons: TJ Long (Anne), Charles Long (Terri) and Sean Long, and his 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. The Funeral Service and burial will be held privately.
