IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Thomas P.
Mcdougal
March 13, 1969 – April 25, 2019
Thomas (Tom) P. McDougal, age 50, a resident of West Chester, PA, passed away Thursday morning after a 3.5 year battle with cancer. Tom was born to Richard McDougal and Jeannine (Webber) McDougal on March 13, 1969. He was raised and educated in Peshtigo, WI and graduated from Peshtigo High School in 1987. He graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI with a mechanical engineering degree in 1991. Tom met the love of his life in college, Rori (Mrjenovich) McDougal, and they married on September 17, 1994. Tom's greatest pride were his 3 children; he got tremendous joy from watching them do anything they enjoyed and grow into young adults. After college, Tom and his family moved to CO, NJ, and FL before settling in PA. Tom made a career for 27 years working in the oil industry, where he developed many long-lasting friendships. For the past 12 years, he ran the company he founded with Rori, PeopleCore, Inc. doing what he loved. Tom was an avid Green Bay Packers fan, hunter, and golfer. He was loved for his heartwarming smiles and bright eyes, and enjoyed helping the people around him become better versions of themselves. Friends described him as "tough as nails" with a witty sense of humor. Tom's life was guided by his love, honor, and faith, and he was an active parishioner of St. Cornelius Catholic Church in Chadds Ford, PA.
Tom leaves to cherish loving memories his wife of 24 years, Rori McDougal; 3 children Mackenzie, Madyson, and Matthew McDougal; parents Richard and Jeannine McDougal; 2 sisters Erin Setner (Drae) and Megan Binsfled (Matt); mother-in-law Pamela Mrjenovich; father-in-law Ronald Mrjenovich (Marilou); brother-in-law Ronald Mrjenovich, and 6 nieces and nephews.
